About

Who stands behind LUXGEN, and what this site is for.

LUXGEN is the RO purifier and spares brand of ION INDIA LIMITED, a water-purification manufacturer in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. luxgenro.com is the brand's specification reference, not a shop. This page says who is behind it, who writes what is here, and how the figures are kept right.

What LUXGEN is

LUXGEN is the RO water purifier and spares brand of ION INDIA LIMITED. The range is fifteen products: three RO purifiers (the Royale Copper, the Aura and the Curve), three TFC RO membranes (80 GPD, 100 GPD and a 100 GPD molded membrane rated for feed water up to 3000 ppm), a 24 V booster pump rated to 140 PSI, six 5-micron sediment and carbon cartridges in Branded-Fit and Universal-Fit sizes, and two wall-mounted pre-filter housing kits. Every product lists India as its country of origin.

That is the whole range. LUXGEN makes no water softener and no UV lamp; where one of those is the right answer to a question, the guides on this site say so rather than steer you to a LUXGEN part. The product index has one page per product with its specifications, what it fits and does not fit, and when to replace it.

The company behind it: ION INDIA LIMITED

ION INDIA LIMITED is a water-purification and IoT manufacturing company based in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, founded in 2015 by T. Sathyaraj, its Managing Director. LUXGEN is one of the company's brands; the others, published on the company site, cover domestic RO purifiers, water softeners, commercial RO plants, filters and spares, air purifiers and app-connected purifiers. The company states that product design, fabrication, assembly, testing and dispatch are carried out at its Hosur facility.

Corporate details, the leadership page and the manufacturing overview are on the company's own site: ionindia.co.in/about, leadership and manufacturing. This site does not repeat them; it is about the LUXGEN products and nothing else.

Where orders are placed: DraQua

DraQua (draqua.online) is the official online store of ION INDIA LIMITED. Every LUXGEN order is placed there, and DraQua ships across India from Hosur. This site has no cart, no accounts and no order tracking; every View on DraQua button on a product page goes to that product's DraQua listing, and every price shown here is copied from that listing. If the two ever disagree, the DraQua listing is the price of record and this site is corrected.

Orders, order status, returns and installation help are handled on DraQua; its contact page lists the same phone number and email as this site. The LUXGEN page on DraQua lists everything in the range.

Why this site exists, and why it is not a shop

A store page has to sell; a reference page has to be right. The questions that come before and after a purifier order are mostly not buying questions: which cartridge fits the housing you already own, whether 80 or 100 GPD, what the number on a TDS meter means, when each part is due and what a year of running costs. luxgenro.com exists so those answers can be written once, in one place, from the product specifications, and kept consistent with them. It carries the full range with specifications, a comparison of the three purifiers, one page per product, and the guides.

Keeping ordering on DraQua means there is one price, one stock figure and one checkout, maintained on the store, rather than a second copy here that could drift. It also keeps this site simple: static pages, no scripts beyond a category filter on the home page, and nothing to log into.

Who writes the guides, and on what basis

The guides are written and published by ION INDIA LIMITED, the company that makes the products. They carry no individual byline; the company is the author of record and answers for what they say. Each guide shows the date it was published.

They are built from three sources and nothing else. First, the specifications on the LUXGEN product listings: GPD, micron rating, PSI, flow, feed ppm, dimensions, the same figures that appear on every product page here. Second, the Indian drinking-water standard, IS 10500:2012, for TDS, hardness and the other limits it sets. Third, DraQua's listed prices at the time of writing, wherever a guide does arithmetic. Where a guide needs a number that is not from one of those three, it says so and labels it an assumption or a range.

A few rules follow from that. No city-level water figures are quoted, because a single reading is not "the TDS in" a city. No competitor prices are quoted. Market figures for things LUXGEN does not sell, such as service visits or softener installation, are given as ranges and marked as such. A LUXGEN product is linked only where it genuinely answers the need on that page, and where the answer is a product LUXGEN does not make, the guide says that. The installation and service page says plainly that LUXGEN has no technicians of its own and no service centres.

How the product data is kept accurate

Specifications and prices are copied from the DraQua product listings, not retyped from memory. Every product page, the range page and the guides are generated from a single source file, so a figure appears once and is reused; a change to a specification or a price is made in that one place and republished everywhere it is used. The rule is that the DraQua listing is the price of record: prices here are copied from it and re-checked against it when pages are rebuilt, and if the two disagree it is this site that is corrected.

The structured data on each product page carries the listed price and the date until which it is valid, and that date is refreshed when the pages are rebuilt. Dates on the guides are publication dates. If you find a figure on this site that disagrees with the DraQua listing or with the product packaging, write to info@draqua.online with the page address, and it will be checked against the listing and corrected here.

What LUXGEN does not do

LUXGEN has no technicians of its own, no service centres in any city and no local branches. Products ship from DraQua; installation, where it is needed, is arranged through a pan-India third-party service network via DraQua; cartridge changes are the owner's own job. LUXGEN sells no annual maintenance contract and no water softener. The installation and service page sets out who does what, and the contact page says how to reach the company.
