Branded-Fit or Universal-Fit
Branded-Fit cartridges are sized for the housings used by major purifier brands. Universal-Fit suits standard 10″ housings. Open your housing and measure before ordering.

Match GPD to your pump
An 80 GPD membrane pairs with a standard domestic pump. Fit a 100 GPD membrane only where the pump can drive it, otherwise output drops instead of rising.

Know your feed TDS
Standard 1812 membranes handle ordinary supply. Above 2000 ppm, use the molded high-TDS membrane, rated to 3000 ppm with 96–98% salt rejection. Not sure what your reading means? Start with the TDS guide for drinking water.

Candle length is not housing length
A 9″ yarn-wound candle fits a 10″ housing with a female-thread cap. A 10″ spun cartridge does not. Check the cap before you buy.

Should I buy the 80 GPD or the 100 GPD membrane?
Match the membrane to your booster pump. 80 GPD suits a standard domestic purifier; 100 GPD gives faster output where the pump can drive it. If your feed water is above 2000 ppm, use the molded high-TDS membrane, which is rated to 3000 ppm.
What is the difference between Branded-Fit and Universal-Fit?
Branded-Fit cartridges are dimensioned for the housings used by major purifier brands. Universal-Fit cartridges suit standard 10″ housings. Both are 5 micron and made in India — check the housing you already own before ordering.
How often should sediment and carbon filters be replaced?
Both are rated up to 12 months. On borewell water with heavy silt, sediment cartridges usually need changing at 6 to 8 months instead.
Which purifier suits borewell water?
The Royale Copper — RO plus UV plus UF with a copper cartridge and an adjustable TDS controller in an 8 litre tank. The Aura gives you a 12 litre tank, and the Curve keeps its 9 litre stored water under UV.
